This is my second time reviewing a book written by Nick Vujicic and it did not disappoint. Limitless is structured differently than his last book, Unstoppable, and I was very excited by this. It is written as a devotional, but unlike most that I've read which are generally a bit hard to relate, Limitless is a vastly encouraging, approachable, genuine collection of reflections and ideas to improve your life.
As you may know from the cover photo or from my previous review, Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs. Forget any misconceptions you may have that his life must be sad, because it isn't. He has enjoyed a beautiful life as he learned to embrace himself and what he had been given. This gives him a unique perspective, but a platform of overcoming despair that we all understand at some points in life. In his other books, he details his life and while those are wonderful, this book would be my first choice to send to others and give as a gift.
The individual devotions are full of genuine insight and show Nick's knack for making readers feel comfortable by sharing stories from his own life. I found myself loving it read in or out of order and sharing it with others around me. It is a really fantastic book and likely the least intimidating devotional, and arguably one of the most helpful I have ever seen.
I loved this book. I'm sure you will too.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review. My opinions are 100% my own.
