When I got the opportunity to review this album, I knew it was going to be incredible. I've seen Kutless live and loved their music for many years now, but this album is truly something special. I honestly can't wait to share it with all of you. In recent years Kutless, through their ministry EOTA (End of The Age), has been hosting free concerts and outreach events and this record feels very much like an extension of that- an outreach to you as a listener.
In Alpha / Omega, we get a more intimate, worshipful sound than ever before. If you've been waiting for something to help refresh your soul, this is it.
"Your Great Name" is the first track and it's one of my favorites. It reminds me of the power of the name of Jesus in our lives to be a force of strength and also a healing balm. It's such a beautiful song.
"No Wonder" is the last track on the album and it's another that I feel very strongly about. The first time I listened to it, I began to tear up. I honestly haven't heard a worship song that touched me so deeply in probably ten years. When I say that this album is a great refresher to the soul, I say that because that's how it felt for me.
